My first step to improve the art of decision making

Difficulty in decision making is a problem that is effecting me for a long time. Yesterday’s embarressement by friends about my decision making skills forced me to work on that.So today right after the ethics class I rushed to the library to get a book about decision making.

“The funniest part is I was not able to select a sinle book and I have taken two books..,I I really need to work on my decision making skills..;)..”.So Effective decision making by John Adair is going to be the first book review in this blog

Days Of Relevation

Past few days were the days of revelation for me.You cant exactly call them as revelations,these were the things I knew. But only now I am realising the importance of these thing.

1.As of now I am a very bad executioner..I can create ideas.But it is very tough for me to execute this.It is extremely high time for me to work on it.So from now on I will be Putting my to do list and I will mark the success ratio.By the way I will be putting smaller targets but I want to ensure 100% adherence to it ALWAYS.

2.About my communication..Enough and more has said about my communication.But the revelation is

a) I should speak confidently

b) No long Pauses

My To Do list for Today

a)Cleaning the room

b)30 x 2 Push ups

c)Doing a question paper

d)Complete chapter 5

It looks a bit long.But I am sure If I can complete this then I can feel really confident about myself.

I almost missed the target completely.I did only the push ups and cleaned the room.

A Narrow Escape From The Tech Savvy Monkeys of SDMIMD

Today A monkey woke me up in the morning..I am not kidding .A monkey was trying to enter into the my room early in the morning.I should thank the almighty for waking me up then.The gadget crazy monkeys here can really make your life hell.They used to elope with mobile phones, mouses and even use to damage laptops.We should be grateful to god for not making monkeys as intelligent as we are.Otherwise they would have made the life impossible for humans!!.

PUSH UPS

People generally consider push ups as the best upper body exercise. ( Courtesy : A you tube video I watched yesterday)  . Anyway even I have decided to join the PUSHUP bandwagon.Yeah! I have decided to do push ups everyday from now on.Today I started with two sets of 30 push ups each.

Surprisingly I got the first compliment today itself. One of my classmates asked me whether I am going to gym these days.Let me tell you I felt really elated. Hope my dieting and exercise regime will help me to shed weight.

NB: Dont think that my entire physique is suddenly after taking a few push ups.All these idiots in my clustor teased me even today for my belly.

The Day I started Diary Blogging

Today I got up around 8.45.Actually I got up much earlier but stayed back in the bed.Read First few pages of Mary Kay case that I we have to submit for strategic marketing.

FISCAL AND MONITORY POLICY
Fiscal Policy,a concept introduced by JM Kayenes to counter great depression is a tool used to monitor the economy.Two major tools of fiscal policy are Revenue spending and collection from the government.Three kinds of fiscal policy are expansionary,contractory and neutral.
a)Expansionary..Higher govt spending than tax collectn,may lead to budget deficit,used in times of recession.
b)Contractory..Lower govt spending than tax collectn,may lead to budget surplus,used in times of overheating of economy.
c)Neutral ..Revenue collection and spending are equal
MONITORY POLICY
A tool used by central banks to control the supply of money in the economy, by controlling interest rates.May be expansionary or contractory.
a)Expansionary.. Lower interest rates and that leads to higher supply of money in the economy.Used to boost economic growth and reduce unemployment
b)Contractory..Higher interest rates and that leads to lower supply of money in the economy.Used when economy is overheating.
